Where does the horn wire exit the steering column? There looks to be a hole at the end of the steering box, but no other clues. To rerun it, you must open the steering box and fish a new one through?

You don't have to pull apart the steering column. You can take the horn button off at the steering wheel, remove the existing wire if any remains. Take a length of mig wire, or bailing wire, and feed it up from the bottom through the hole. Attach by electrical tape the new horn wire to the bailing wire and carefully pull the wire through the bottom.
I was successful pushing a #12 stranded wire up through the hole all the way to the horn button and out. Easiest repair on a horn button yet!!!!! Thanks.
Every so often the blind squirrel finds an acorn that doesn't have a worm in it! Good Job!
Good deal. Glad it worked easy for you.
