    Master cylinder

I have a '48 Jeep CJ2a I am working on.Everyoner I talk to says it is supposed to have a single piston master cylinder under the floorpan. Not mine.Mine is a double piston mounted on the firewall. It has not been altered. There is no evidence of welding or fabrication of any kind. What do I have? And more important, what re-build kit do I need? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

My 2A is a single. Post a pic and I will try and help ID it. Just for the heck of it is there a round plate under the brake pedal are there bolt holes in the frame where a master cyl would be mounted?
