    There are several videos on YouTube that cover most assemblies on a Jeep. Metal shaper does a good job at showing things step by step. He gives his opinions on who and what items to buy, and ones to stay away from.

    Great news. First of all thank you all for your response and help. We drained 9FF3D980-B1A6-4777-9345-C95D6F965FF6.jpgthe oil out of TC and lubticated everything. Cleaned off the rust and bingo. All gears working great. Last thing to do is rebuild carburetor. Waiting on parts.

    Excellent. The jeep transmissions are pretty darn tough. You should drop the oil after you get the jeepster out on the road. Then see if any more rust or contamination come out.
