1948 willys pick up

Hi all.
A 1948 willys pick up followed me home the other week and my wife said i could keep it she is the best. I would like to put a newer and more modern chasy under it to make it a daily driver. I would like to stick to a chevy line i know the s 10 is a perfect match but am seeking something newer than in the 80's. i am a taller guy and would be extending the back of the cab so a longer wheelbase is ok. Any and all imput from guys that know better about any of this is greatly appreciated tks

I've spent a year so far restoring a '48 2WD - look in the Restoration folder..
