Indian Mahindra Jeep.

hi.
i was just wondering if the India built "Mahindra Jeep" was ever sold in the USA.

they were sold here in Australia for a few years in the `90s. basicly a CJ3 with a different engine i think. the ones sold here had Peugeot diesel engins.

i recently found one in a farm shed while working on the power poles there. no body was home but thinking of going back to find out a bit more about it oneday. didn`t look like it had moved for a few years.

thanks for those links . i will let you know how i go. it might not be for a while though.
