can a cj2a be put on a cj5 frame, i want to use all suspension and body from the cj2a

Sure, you CAN do anything and it has been done but there are quite a few differences and it depends on the years also. Don't quote me on this but I believe a '54-'71 CJ5 has a 1" longer wheelbase than the CJ2A. Around '72 or thereabouts the hood and fenders were stretched and I think the wheel base was too, by about 3". Later yet, maybe '82 the C5 got wide track axles. You can find most of this stuff out for sure on the net in various places and by using your google-fu.

Of course, the question is why would you want to do this? Also, if you're going to, you might as well use a later CJ5 and go with better axles with open knuckles and disc brakes. I mean, if it's not going to be original you may as well upgrade.
