I purchased a 1949 CJ3A through an auction in Vermont and shipped it to South Carolina. It had a frame up restoration 2001 - 2003. Two owners later and only driven 500 miles and it is mine. It is in fantastic shape in every detail. I'm 69 years old so I don't have the time to start from scratch, but I will treat it well and drive it all the time. Bought after market side steps, but then found set of original for sale, so I bought them. Will return the new ones. Rear seat needs new cushions and paint frame. I've wanted a jeep since watching Roy Roger in the early 50s. I am a happy man.
