Hey Guys. I'm a long time lover of old trucks. Always have been. Willys has always been a favorite of mine. I don't have one but figure since I'm old, broke, & indebt, now seems like the perfect time to buy a truck I'm only going to have to put more money into. Looking around saw a 1950 flatbed in my price range. I want to make the plunge but don't have the skills to know what to look for in a truck that old. Right engine for that year? Tranny? Do they have specific makings to look for? Where do I bone up on these things?

It's a story still being written
