Has anybody installed a 2 barrel carburetor with a electric choke on a F134 1962 era jeep motor? If so what did did you use. Did it give you more power? How difficult was it to installation?

I had read a while back about a guy who found a twin single barrel carb set up for his 2A or similar Jeep. He noted that it was a bear to adjust and sink the two carbs, and the results were not much better than in stock form. Kaiser Willys does have a conversion kit/carburetor to install a Webber carb. I have not seen it done as of yet, but the add claims to be significant....... The link to the installation guide is as follows;

You are welcome. Let us know what you find out. I do not know much about the FCs, but would love to learn more about them.

A lady at work drove an FC 150 for a number of years. We called it "The Mugly Other".

I've often wondered where it ended up ...

Sebastian,

I was tooling through ewillys.com, and he had posted some photos from the Ohio FC gathering. I know that there is another gathering in the southwest, that happens yearly. I believe that they have a facebook page that you may be able to find out more information from, in regards to you carburetor question.
