63 Willys Wagon

Have had this for nearly thirty yrs. Bought off farm in Bethany, Missouri for $700 in '88 or '89. Drove it for about 12 yrs, sat in garage for about 10, and has now been in votech class for about 7. Almost completely redone. Looking for a tailgate. Mine is dented and rusted. If anyone has a suggestion for how to get one, please let me know.

Tailgates are hard to come by. I've been looking as well, for my '63. Nobody has taken the time to reproduce a replacement copy as of yet, mainly because they are fairly complex to fabricate. There are kits available to replace the bottom three inches of the tailgate that you have. I did purchase a tailgate off of E-bay, but it turned out to be not quite as good as the seller was making it out to be. When I get to it, I will be purchasing the lower section to repair my tailgate.
