Tub serial number B140117

Looking for information this tub on a GPW frame ser#148506 with a tub number serB140117 .getting all kinds of info saying MD JAUN tub ,I received a email from them that this is not their tub. Any help would be appreciated

Welcome Karl Schmidt,

To my knowledge, MD Jaun doesn't identify their tubs with a serial number. TJones has just purchased a Replitub from Willy's Overland, and can chime in to let us know if his is serialized. The Replitub is an MD Juan tub that is reworked to fit the frame more like the original.
Your GPW may be a product of a European rebuild program, or even a French Hotchkiss Jeep. If I can trust my memory, their serial numbers start with an H.

MD Jaun does not put serial #'s on their tubs, that's why they probably said it was not their tub.
Like GM said send some pictures and someone may be able to clarify what you do have.
