Remember in A Christmas Story when Ralphie said "Oh Fudge..."
Well, today was a bit of an "Oh Fudge" day.
I had the '48 in the shop to get the paint Aw Pooh fixed, and it cleaned up pretty well ... until we took off the masking tape and the paint under it came off too.
"Aw Fudge".
We've got to work back until we get to paint on a good base. It looks like the primer wasn't pre-paint prepped. Paint just isn't sticking to it - it's a slick shiny primer surface, not the kind of rough surface paint likes to stick to.
But - the good news is that the local drive-line shop can balance the two-piece drive shaft and they say "No sweat - we have all kinds of boots to cover up those u-joints".
