1949 willys truck conversion

I am looking for advice on converting a 49 willy truck body.i have read about using S10 trucks and blazers. I want to lift it and use it for hunting and camping in the woods. Ideas,

There are all sorts of articles covering different conversions. Pirate 4x4 has several pictorials of people's projects, but by far my favorite is out of Australia. Google the GrandWillys project. He posts his progress on several forums. He is a master fabricator, and tends to make my skills look really inferior.
