found a couple pre 45 jeeps to buy...need advice

I am new to this. I just found a couple pre 1945 jeeps to buy. What should i be looking for. Restorations were made, but not ground up. None are completely original. How can I tell if the tub is original? Only one has a title, the other do not...how much should that bother me.

Post detailed pix. The experts will chime in on correctness. As for titles, that is a mixed bag. Some states do not issue titles on old vehicles of a certain age, other states, like California does.
