Although I have several cj3a owners manuals in 70 year old condition, I saw this one and took a chance. The only hint to me that it may not be a reproduction was the darkening on the inside cover closer to the staples. Guess I will be more clued in when it arrives. Most of the other re-issues have dates on the front cover.
Did I get fooled?

The link was missing the complete https. It now goes to eBay but it doesn't take us to the manual. In any event, usually a real original is going to be pricey.

It just depends on who is giving the spanking! 😊

Those were the days. Well, at least I think I remember those were the days. Boy, do I have stories...if I can remember them.
I used to be a hip guy, and now?, just an old guy with a bad hip.

You just can't ever tell about stuff like that. Going through my mom and dad's stuff I have come across items that got saved for one reason or the other and are in pristine condition. Maybe you got lucky. In any event, it looks like a nice manual.

Lucked out. It is identical in print clarity to my other not so perfect manual. Glossy pages and print date Dec. 10, 1948, First edition.

My Grand dad had every operator's manual for every piece of equipment he ever had. Makes me wonder what ever happened to them all after he passed. They were all like new, but well read.
