This is in San Diego. If anyone is looking for one. Appears to be a O.E. Szekely with the aluminum body and correct Ford Y block. What a neat grocery getter :rolleyes: Or, if you need to tow jet planes. It's on CL San Diego.

You could drive this on the street. This one had a license plate at one time. These were auxiliary power units for aircraft, supplying shore power to start. This one, if memory serves, has the Ford 292 V8.

I see a perfect ranch truck. Hauling a hay wagon or some such chore with that nice manageable short wheelbase. It looks to have 4 wheel drive. Those Y blocks are good engines for what they are. But the valves need adjusting ever so often.
Uglier than sin but somehow cute in an odd way. And yep, I see a license plate. As long as it has stop lights and head lights no one at the DMV would have a clue what it is. This one has no title but no big deal. Over the years I've purchased quite few with no title.
There are outfits that deal with that problem. If I wasn't knee deep in my '50 cj I'd go over and trailer it back.

Looks like it has enough hood height to hide the whole power unit without it sticking out:D

Don't forget about a Burma Jeep! These were built by Ford, but have a very unique look.

TJ totally got my attention with the Blown LS project. We are puttin' one together in the "M.R. Garage" right now for a big 4x4 Chevy 2500. A Stroker with an Iron block. Big torque numbers on the dyno are predicted. That would just be outrageous in that thing. With some of those out the top pipes.

However, I do see the sanity in Willys trucks!
