I6 - 266 Super Hurricane - Jeep Truck

Hello Jeep Friends,

I have the opportunity to buy a rolling frame Jeep Truck (No Body). It has the engine and transmission but I have a few questions.

1) Will the 16" wheels fit a CJ-3B or CJ-5 ?

2) Will the engine and Transmission drop right into a CJ-5 frame and body?

3) It has two strange wheels that I've never seen before, what are they?

Hey Chuck: The Flathead 6 is too long for any CJ unless you do a ton of modifications to get it in. That's why 1972 CJ5's have longer fenders, so AMC could get their OHV 6 in it. Those wheels look like the bolt pattern 5 on 5.5 but you would have to check and see if they clear the springs. They look too wide to be of any use. .............. Tim Gardner
