Another new member from Texas! New owner of a 1960 4x4 Wagon. Look forward to fixing it up! I would say I'm about an average or so mechanic, but eager to learn about working on these old Jeeps. Hmmm, trying to attach Pics that are not rotated! Will have to search the postings on that.
Thanks.

Oh man that thing looks perfect! I cant wait to see more of it. Is it as complete as it looks? I don't see any real rust. 4x4 none the less! That looks like a great start to a show stopper.

Thanks, and yes very complete. I think all the original stuff is on it. only rust you don't see is where a rear hatch was missing and letting rain in. ruined half the wood slats in the back and a little rust under them. I will try to get some more pics loaded up of stuff i'm doing. i guess like everyone I have made a wish list!

Welcome Nance206,

That is a good looking wagon!

We don't know why the website tool does that to pictures on occasion.

Go ahead, post them - we'll figure it out!

(I copied it, rotated it CCW, reposted it)

It looks like a good starting place for a project.

I finally figured out what I had to do to get them rotated correctly. I loaded several photo's in my album. They are in reverse chronological order!

Amy has the Gallery on her list of things she would like to tune up.

You have a lot of Wagon left to work on. Not many rust-throughs and a lot of nice pieces left - especially the wood inserts for the back end.

Yeah, there are challenges and opportunities (e.g. the plastic gas can).

Have you had a chance to look at mechanicals yet?

Seems pretty sound mechanically, drove it some without brakes, engine sounds sweet, 4 wheel drive works, tranny feels good, needs brakes!
