Dual Action Vacuum Lines

I'm looking to restore the vacuum lines on a L134 engine. The previous owner caped the fuel pump vacuum line ports and hooked up the wiper motor directly to the intake manifold. My question is does the in or out port attached to the wiper motor? Assuming the other port goes to the manifold. Thanks.

"IN" should be vacuum. It should be the port closest to the engine block on an original pump. That line goes to assist the wipers.

That's what I thought and it makes sense. I hooked it up that way and it works fine. Thanks for the confirmation.
