Swaping cj2a L 134 into cj3b frame ?

Is possible to put cj2a L134 engine into cj3b frame without changing the motor mounts ,by switching the front engine plate from the L 134 to F 134 front engine plate ?

There was a thread a short while ago that mentioned an adapter to put the 2A engine in a 3A. Maybe that would help.

I think it might work. The timing set up may make a difference depending on if the 2A motor was gear or chain driven. I am not sure abut that because the 2A uses a different plate depending on how the cam is driven.

Well Im gonna find out pretty soon. Got F134 engine, gonna take front plate off of it and compare it to my L 134 engine front plate. Will let peeps know when I find out. Both engines have gear drive I believe at least the L 134 does , don't know about F 134 . Gonna dig into the F 134 engine .
