Hey, looking for some help with Sliding Windows on a 56 Willys Wagon. Checking to see if anyone has some pics I could go by. Having trouble with how the sliding window sits in the the opening/on a rubber/felt track?? I have a new window kit for the full vehicle, but have noticed they shorted me one of the main rubber seals for sliding window, so leaves me questioning if there are other pieces missing, and hence some of my confusion to the install.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Any detailed pics of how the sliding window fits in the opening, rubber/felt? Just not sure how and not able to find anything online.
Thanks in advance for any help you guys can provide.

JB,
I haven't pulled the sliding windows out of mine, so it is still "functional" or how it came from the factory. Now, with that being said, the body is tucked over in the corner of the Hall, and there is shipping crates boxing it in. I'm not sure when I am going to get enough time to pull it out to document. In leu of mine, see if some of these other forum entries help at all;

I looked through my photos of the wagon to see if I happened to catch a glimpse of the sliders... Nope, except for the drain.

Thank you thank you. I have looked at these pics online at length. There just isn’t any detail on sliding window install, one gasket for all of this opening?
What info/pic you have on the drain? Again, have no idea where this connects on the top side. Thanks again.

I'm fairly confident that it is a single piece gasket, but then the felt for the sliding window goes down in the center of the seal. From what I was reading, and suspect that it's true from messing with mine, the gaskets are set in the body tight. The drain attaches to a nipple in the bottom of the track, then goes down through the quarter panel to another nipple in the floor. Mine wasn't rusty around the window frame due to water intrusion, but rather mice getting up on the window trim and leaving behind their waste.

Thank you for the pic!! Lets me know where to look on mine.
I am at a total loss on sliding window gasket. My kit has one gasket and no felts or such suggesting a slide fir sliding window. I will keep asking around until I get this worked out. I wish I had a video showing one of these windows in motion and giving me an idea what gaskets involved look like.
