Good evening everyone (well evening where i am)!

Just attached a couple of photos showing progress in a new thread as promised (a while ago) to keep you all upto date with progress!

I have wire brushed the chassis, axles, springs, and given it all a good two coats of red oxide, then then two coats of olive drab green!

the chassis is very stright and i have not done any welding on it at all, apart from the new rear crossmember!

i am very happy!

I have used a very high quality red oxide primer, i belive it was the same red oxide as used on ships! the top coat came from a paint supplier on ebay ihere in the UK.

I am very happy with both products!

Update!

While i am awaiting to get me gearbox sorted i have been busy.

I made a frame to transport the body tub on and to also work on it too!

What do you think?

Excellent! I'm a fan of the big casters. I wish I would have sprung for bigger casters when I built my body stand.

Yep, it makes moving it sooo much easier!

Both look like they would work well.

Never too late to spring for the bigger casters.

True, if I'd get off my backside and finish the floors, then I could revamp the saw horses to the bigger wheels.
