Just started tearing into my L134. Took off the water pump and fuel pump. This is my first restoration project, so most of this is new to me. Curious on some feedback on the pictures of the cylinders and cam, lifters, etc.

Welcome Jt! Can't see much yet, looks pretty normal. Once you get it apart you can take some pictures of the components. You will be able to see a lot more.

Thanks, first time opening one of these up, saw a lot of rust inside. Once I get a bit farther in, I’ll definitely add some more pictures

Looks pretty normal so far. The cylinder casting in the water jacket are fairly rough, so that's what you are seeing, more than actual rust. Keep us updated as you get it apart.
