The attached photo is my project wagon.
1949 4 wheel drive
modified with a Ford 260 engine.

All rust has now been removed and new sheetmetal welded in. Painting it in a Woody theme. I wonder if anyone has seen a fender medallion such as shown on the front fender a V shaped crome part. Was this original and did it mean anything as far as model?

bit hard to tell from the photo but it looks a bit like an early ford V8 badge, proberly to go with the ford 260.

Havent seen any wagons with that emblem. Looks like the vintage Chevy emblem. I too love the look of the door. Will that be the style for the entire wagon?230231

Yes

It will be a woody theme with a maroon with flakes top, hood, and fenders.

This was similiar to the three tone color on the 1947 color chart. I tried to match the Maple and the Mahogany from the chart

Will paint the interior first with the same color as the hood and fenders. I installing front and rear seats from a landrover. plan on wood rear floor and??? roof liner. black window frames . all panels will be ABS plastic textured but unsure of the color yet may match the tan leather seats.

Wow a wood floor in a wagon. Is that what was originally in there? I don't know much about the wagons.
