Willys Overland Jeepster Club - Fall Meet
When: September 6-9, 2012
Where: Centre County, Pennsylvania
Thursday, 9/6/2012:
4:00-7:00 P.M. - Check-in at the Quality Inn. Welcome by Allegheny Mountain Region AACA members and their cars at Champs Sports Bar. Supper at Champs..*. Then… Hang at the Hammers at 1320 N. Allen St.Parking in the Green Space. Chairs needed. BYOBBeer, soda and other soft drinks, Scoops and Salsa, chips and pretzels provided.* Everyone responsible for his/her own bill.
Friday, 9/7/2012:
9:00 A.M. - Caravan to Boalsburg Military Museum Parking Lot. Receive Boalsburg town map and choose sites of interest. Maps, Brochures and coupons in the Goody Bags. (1) Outdoor Self-tour of Museum Grounds (2) Military MuseumTour (3) Columbus Chapel and Museum Tour (4) Visit Boalsburg, the Birthplace of Memorial Day.
12:00 – 1:20 P.M.: Lunch on your own at Duffy’s Tavern, Kelly’s Steak and Seafood, Angelo’s Pizzeria or Brewers Village Cafe. (Businesses who contribute coupons, etc. to the Goody Bags will be listed).
Anytime after noon-- Meyers Dairy Store for icecream. Tour State College and Penn State University, the Nittany Lion Shrine, the lion weathervane at Beaver Stadium, the Joe Paterno statue, the Arboretum on Park Avenue, and the Creamery where Ben & Jerry learned their trade. Others return to Green Space to swap parts, stories, & other stuff. Again, town maps and brochures will be in the Goody Bags. Deno’sGarage???
5:00 –Cruise around the block downtown and then go to dinner at The Tavern, home ofthe unlimited side dishes!Parking in the McAllister Street Municipal Garage.(Bring a supply of quarters forparking.)Then,“Hang at the Hammers” at 1320 N. AllenSt.
Saturday, 9/8/2012:
9:00 - 11:00 A.M. Caravan to Penn's Cave via Neff’s Round Barn (PictureTime!) (Pending contact with owner)
11:00 –3:30 P.M. - Penn’s Cave and Wildlife Park. Enjoy caving underground in a boat! And the Antique Machinery Show featuring 800 tractors and 700 vendors – antiques, crafts, food items, and more.

Lunch on your own at the cave. Eat light; supper will be early and plentiful!
3:30 P.M. - Caravan through Brush Valley to the home of Jonas and Lydia Yoder.
4:00 P.M. - Amish Dinner at the farm, 3 mi. east off Rebersburg.
6:00 P.M. - Return to State College via Rock Hill Road. Hang at the Hammers’.
Sunday, 9/9/2012:
8:00 A.M. - Farewell Breakfast at the Waffle Shop, N. Atherton St.
