Rear bumper on a '58 pickup?

Did the 1958 pickups come with a rear bumper? Mine had a MASSIVE :eek: steel bumper that was welded on, but was definitely not original. Just had it cut off (two men and a boy can barely drag it).

my 55 came with a stamped curved bumper.

I know that rear bumpers were an extra cost option on most domestic pickups back then...but I can't say whether they were optional on Willys trucks or not...lots of items were optional like a passenger side sun visor, both left and right outside mirrors, and armrests.
