You are moving along nicely on that thing TJ! Take care of those lungs man, ya need em.
Well, you've been there, done that, got scars to prove it on a lot of the common tasks between the two Jeeps. Hopefully you won't have the adventure with this engine as you did the Orange Crusher...
"...our "OCD or ADD" liking .."
From a distance OCD/ADD/ADDHD can't be told from genius.
Actually Larrbeard we did a compression check on the motor and each cylinder had 147-150 lbs of compression, and the leak down test was between 3 & 4% on each hole which surprised us both, after looking the motor was evidently rebuilt in 2021 according to a tag we found on a valve cover :cool:
Looking good there JT! Will be a fun project for sure. And should make for a sweet driver jeep. That 304 will be nice! A thread was started awhile ago about the 58. He was looking for engine swap ideas. And hadn't posted in awhile. I was wondering what had happened. By the looks of things you do good work. This will be fun to follow along.
TJ does great work. I had the chance to run Orange Crush around Bmorgil's side forty. It was way more healthy than one would expect in a short wheelbase Jeep. It was just the other side of wicked. The 304 will be ready to go with those numbers.
Coming along Slowly this week with the frigid cold blowing in, but progress.
Finally go the lift kit from "Jack It" and installed over the weekend.
