I think that means he's going to keep the hood ornament stock.
After the paint job you did on "The Orange Crush", I want to see what you come up with this time. The '51 stock colors of Emerald Green (peeJ), Tunisian Red and Manila Red really pop in modern paints. Or, you could get a custom color like "Cherry Fizz" to go with "Orange Crush".
A snazzy paint job only leads to an LS or Hellaphant transplant.....
Come on TJ how can you resist? Drop it down low and fit some 15" wide 31 tall tires under the back and some nice skinniness up front. A blower out the hood and a maxed out LS under it. Oh yaaaaaaaaah......
Put your company logo on the side and campaign at the locals.... I know this garage that would build the motor for cost. Call it "Diggen' Dirt"!
I vote for the LS because I've never heard it told as it is happening. Unless he goes e-lectric. That would generate a buzz.
You guy's are Killin Me:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:
What are friends for..... Influencing questionable decisions on a regular basis.
I hope he doesn't have the budget for it. That always makes it fun.
Welllllllllllll,
Sitting in the Garage-Ma-Hall and got tired of looking at drippings out of the bellhousing and transfer case so I did the unthinkable, I pulled the tranny and transfer case out of the "Orange Crush" and completely tore it down to the bare cases and had everything bead blasted to start fresh from scratch.
What in the hell was I thinking and why didnt I do it when it was laying on the floor before the dress went on her??????

Did find out why she was leaking though.
1. the input shaft retainer deal went bad and #2 was it didn't have the front bearing oil slinger shield on the input shaft.
With any luck "and the creek don't rise" i will have her all stuffed back in the Ole Girl this weekend.
P.S. I didn't count everything but there sure is a lot of pieces parts in a T90 and a Dana 18 when you get it all sprawled out on the floor
