I am having a problem with a leaking gas tank, specifically leaking at the gasket on the top of the fuel tank. I have replaced the gasket and tightened the screws, but it still leaks.....

Does the sending unit mounting plate appear to be warped?
No...it does not appear warped...it is a new gas tank and sending unit...Quote:

I had the same problem and just bit down hard on the screws with a larger screwdriver and it stopped.
