I have a 1951 M-38 Jeep that I will be using for everyday use. What type of gas should I use? There aren't any Ethanol free gas stations around me. Maybe just go with a higher octane gas.

hello jerry, the ethanol is not a problem, just make your timming and adjust your carburator .
I have a 1966 M38A1 and I roll with regular gasoline with 20% ethanol, and the only problem it causes me is that it is more difficult when you started when it is hot because that ethanol has is volatille and asks me to use the (dash primer) for help.
premium fuel does not contain them but I've never tried.
