Just bought a 1948 CJ2a in Az.

Hi my name is John I just recently bought a 1948 Jeep CJ2a at a garage sale on Saturday. As far as I can tell its all original except its been upgraded to 12 volt with an alternator. Otherwise this Jeep has 21 k on the odometer and is in great shape. I'm going to drain all fluids out of it and replace them as it sat in a garage for 10 years without running. It still had oil in it so that's a good sign. After I get it back to good running shape I'm going to put some tires original to that time on it. It has no rust that I can see anywhere. I've wanted one of these since I've been 12 years old now at 58 I have one.
