Difference in a 685 SW and a 685 2x4 SW

Well the logical answer to " what is the difference in a 1955 685 SW and a 1955 685 2x4 SW" would be one is a two wheel drive, and one is a 4x4. However never do you see 685 4x4 SW, and the serial number on my Willys is 54727 10882. That is listed as a 1955 685 SW. I do have the F-head six engine however my Willys is two wheel drive with the transverse leaf spring front end.

I am going to assume that neither the motor or vin number were ever swapped. The vin plate has the original screws and there does not look like they have ever been removed.

Anyone have a 1955 685 Wagon that I çan compare serial numbers with?
