Willys in TEXAS

Greetings from Texas. I purchased a 49' truck May 5th. great lil truck, drives nice and looks nice, BUT I am doing cosmetic work and getting it "exactly" the way I want it. I am amazed the quality of steel that was used on these beasts back then, especially the body. I took off the door panel and underneath is some rust in the lower door panel, but the door in more solid that my 2005 Ford King Ranch. Now this lil truck is 63 years old and if you put a new F150 Ford out in the elements for just HALF those years, it would be a pile on nothing. This ole Willys will outlive me ! now I am hooked and want another Willys !
