It appears to be a utility tester that checks just about all the components in an MB/GPW charging system.
It would be a neat display item if nothing else...
There is a kit for gas operated 24 volt vehicles. The kit contains all the leads and connections for M38A1'S through M151A2s. I had a kit that I found at a flea market for $20. Traded it for some other parts, but now I can't find one for under $100.
