Radiator on my 57 truck is leaking.....anyone had experience with the inexpensive aluminum replacements?
That makes sense since it supposedly a "transition year". Thanks for the insight.
I guess I was asking if a 1957 could be 6V. I thought they changed in 57 to 12V. (Matters not, it will stay 12V.)
I was successful pushing a #12 stranded wire up through the hole all the way to the horn button and out. Easiest repair on a horn button yet!!!!! Thanks.
Where does the horn wire exit the steering column? There looks to be a hole at the end of the steering box, but no other clues. To rerun it, you must open the steering box and fish a new one through?

I have a 1957 Willys Pickup with 4WD. There is an Overdrive knob and cable and a switch that appears to be added for power wire that runs back to the end of the cable. The tech manual says OD was...
Thanks for the info!!!!!!
Got it. So I DO have to remove the Warn hub to get the drum off to replace the wheel cylinder and the shoes, no?
I don't understand. I pulled the wheel and the hub is on the outside. I can't see how anything would be holding the drum on since it has the wheel studs.

Was originally red. Been removing mods and trying to figure all the original wiring and functions. One mystery is that the defrost cable goes nowhere. I think there is something missing off...
Just purchased a 1957 Willys Pickup in good shape. I need to get to the brakes to inspect them. It has Warn spring loaded locking hubs and I wondered how to get the hub/drum/etc off to look at the...
