Now I've got that song in my head "Bull in the woods, chewing tobacco; Bull in the woods, chewing tobacco..." I'll be hummin' it all day while I mow the lawn and putter with my jeep.

So yesterday I'm at a signal, waiting to turn left. Any, you guessed it, the left arrow goes green and the moron in front of me is staring at his phone.
I wait 1.75 seconds and realized he's...
HOOOONK!!!
It works now. Thanks again all.
I took it apart easily. The cap just popped off with a screwdriver. I cleaned the contact, messed around. Got it to "HMMMMMMM," then adjust the distance...
Where is this dog located??? I'd LOVE to feed the culprit directly into the open mouth of a large hungry dog! :D
I'll try and get to taking the horn apart today. Yesterday was "fun-filled" action...
Well hell! Horn arrived. It appears identical to my old one. Maybe it is??? No it's not; this one has a bracket on it.
BUT... the damn thing doesn't work! I thought the listing said "working," but...
Well it's definitely a mystery as to where that stuff disappeared to. What bugs me is that I'm probably going to find other things missing as I think of them!
The horn will be here tomorrow. I'll...
I found what looks like a nearly identical horn. It's on the way. And the new Omix spare tire box is already mounted.
For whatever it's worth, I filed a police report in the rare event that this...
That's hilarious! Hmmm... I suspect that jeep was prepped just a little before the dismantle and "re-mantle." :D
Thanks everyone, again! I'm attempting to get the owner of this "Tigger" to join the forum and reply to all the great people here, helping me with a jeep that's not even mine!
I've got enough...
Totally agree!
Unfortunately ... (and I live in a decent neighborhood I thought), I'm missing my original "snail" 12 volt horn and my original spare tire holder. I had saved both with all my jeep...
More photos...
Mark here. I'm posting this for a friend who's also helping me remotely with my jeep.
He bought "something" that he can't truly identify.
This is the letter he wrote explaining the details. It's...
Changed my mind. Keeping the drums. They're stored in my garage and tossed the shoes. I just can't keep it all, but I can keep some! :)
Ok that was a good one, again!
The funny thing is that I really started "parting it in" by storing that crap inside, making it a CJ3B "wheeled storage container."
Only thing in it now is my...
Thank you!! Yes I'll start 'em low, but make sure my shipping rate is correct. :)
Thanks for those good words too!
It was something I had considered for years. And I already had c6/c7 discectomy fusion 4 years earlier. So, why not do the entire neck?!! This was now "revision" at...
That's hilarious, and thank you for that story. The irony: waking up to that scene after major neck surgery. I can't imagine the "future damage" that will occur to those riders. UGH!
I woke up in...
I had forgotten that "bucking bronco" feeling when I drive it at about 40mph. Ouuuuuuuuuuuuch!!!! I'm not 17 anymore!
Great advice from everyone here!
I actually did keep two original lines in the system. They seemed (and are) fine but my jeep has been indoors the entire time. I do have the new lines though just in...
Thanks!! I might just list the shoes for now.
Those drums would make beefy flower pots!! :)
I've done a complete brake overhaul in my CJ3B. The old brakes shoes are Bendix and the drums are quite old. I'm not sure the brand.
Is there any value in these? In other words, is it worth listing...
I wish the healing would be faster than 4 months, and counting.
Well regardless... the leaf springs are getting picked out for me in the next few days. I'm REALLY looking forward to getting this...
There's a titanium plate in my neck now but I think I'll leave it there! :)
Thanks all, again! I've ordered new shackles but they're back ordered. Jeep Hut had a decent price but they're back ordered until May. I can't wait that long now because, after driving it a little...
I actually drove around the block a few times with no brakes at all. I just kept it in the super low gear. I let off on the gas and it nearly comes to a stop. Probably not the smartest thing to do...
