    1962 Willys Split Window question?

We are looking for some information on a split window. We are "restoring" a 1962 truck, or trying to, and we put in new rubber seals and glass, it fits fine but I'm guessing we are missing some parts.

We have the outer metal bar that separates the rubber seal and glass as well as the inner bar that screws through the rubber seal. It looks like the inner bar has larger holes and some type of clip goes over it and you can put a screw through that, but we are guessing.

Does anyone have pictures or a parts list of the inner bar, screws and any assorted attachments that go with it? I can only find the outer bar listed.

    We appreciate the help.

Hi BrackneyPA, 1960 was the last year for split windshields on the Willys Trucks. You might have a different year or have an unoriginal windshield on it. I found some pictures of the interior of the windshield, I hope this helps.

    AmyB,

You are correct, we definitely have parts from multiple years. We are fortunate to have donor parts, just not quite as fortunate on the knowledge needed to get everything back in order. My Father-in-law really likes the split window that's why we chose that version, I will try and get pictures up this weekend.

I appreciate the post, but I am unable to get this picture large enough without being grainy. Can you tell me where you found this.

    Thanks again!

    Hi,
These were scanned in from an original parts manual we have. If you send me your email address I could try sending them to you that way.
