    M38A1 Batteries

What is a reasonably close battery size and cranking amp capacity for a 1952 M38A1 with a 24 volt system? Thanks.

I was wondering the same thing regarding an A1 that's been converted to 12 volt, needing the proper size and cranking amp that will fit in the cowl of my '52. Thanks.

According to the g503 forum, Group 56 size batteries fit fairly well if you put some plywood under them to bring them up to height. They crank OK.
