    '47 cj2a?

We recently bought what we thought was a '47 CJ2A. It is titled as a '47 CJ2A. Now, we're not so sure. Some friends of ours have one and parking them side by side, there are quite a few differences. The most obvious is the insulated aluminum top, doors and solid windshield. I know that numerous cold weather tops were produced and could be fitted to the CJ2A (the top was made by Overland Willy's). The spare tire mounts to the rear and it has a pop up vent in front of the windshield to allow air to get under the hood while driving. Any ideas?

    Hi,
Your Willys Jeep has an M38 windshield on it. Do you have pictures of the passenger side of the vehicle. Or can you locate the serial numbers? They should be located on the passenger side firewall of the engine.
