What goes between motor & bell housing on F134 CJ-5?

Am I missing something between the motor and the bell housing on my 1966 CJ-5 with F134 motor?66 Jeep 002.jpg Sorry for what might be a silly question!

There should be a metal cover plate on the front of the bell housing. On the right side there is a hole for starter access.

Here's a picture of my engine and bell housing from the rear ..

Not exactly the same view, but every boss doesn't seem to have a bolt in it.

The next time I'm over at the shop, I'll take a picture from the same angle and a right side view as well.

Yep it's a metal spacer, goes between the flywheel and block.
