Hi..Im John from Canton Ohio..Look what I found.http://willysjeepforum.kaiserwillys....1&d=1447108497 Concept?? Prototype?? That's what I was told. Has buick v6 with holley 4 barrel on aluminum intake. It has a 1969 Kaiser chassy
Nope not a kit....It is to well built and fits the frame perfectly. Kits are universal and would not fit like what a minx body does. One fellow told me that it was at a new York auto show in around 1970. He is trying to find an old pic of it. Another jeep parts dealer that has been collecting for 50 years said that he has never seen one like it and my question to him was....Is it a kit? He replied that if it was then he has been all over the country buying and selling and parting out jeeps for 50 plus years and he would have seen at least one.
I found out what it is...Its an early 1970s Parmley kit body. I talked to Jenny Parmley the daughter of Tom whom came up with this concept and produced them. It seems that there was less than 30 of them built and only a couple with tops. I may have the only one with a top. The body's were expensive at the time at a grand each. The tops were around 800 bucks. I am not interested in keeping it and will be selling it. I buffed it out and the jell coat is in real nice shape. There is only supposed to be about 4 or 5 of them left.
