    Howdy from Texas

I am brand spankin' new to the forum. My name is Dan Mater and we are out in the Hill Country of Texas. I recently purchased a 1946 CJ2A. The drive train is in very good shape, but naturally I am already encountering some quirks. The body looks great from 10 feet away and in pictures, but is really a combo of original structure, welded plates, bondo and paint, which is just fine because I got it not just because I've wanted a flat fender since I was a pup, but because it is intended to be used. I've already put it to work. It's a real hoot to bounce around in. I am attaching a few pictures. I look forward to learning a thing or two from y'all.
    Best,
    Dan

Hey Dan. Welcome to the forum. I'm in the hill country of Texas myself. Jeep looks to be pretty decent. They are a lot of fun to mess with. Have 5 of em myself!
