    clutch

    Is there any non-terrorably difficult way to install the clutch release fork after trany is installed? Thx, Tomc5

    Ah - nope. You can't get there with all those other pieces in place. The Official Willys Mechanics Manual sez:

    ...follow the procedure for the removal of the transmission and transfer case from the vehicle. Note that labor will be saved, when removing the clutch from 4-wheel drive vehicles equipped with a transfer case if the engine is removed from the chassis without the bell housing.

    I don't know just which Jeep you have, but it's a task.
