    Hey Ash, you said earlier in this thread you were putting in a 6-230. How are you going to mount it? I am pretty much doing the same thing. I would love to see some pics of your mounts if you have them.

    i think Ashley`s truck came from the factory with the 6-230 engine the same as mine.

    i can get some pics of the engine mounts with engine still in place .

    Yes Cal my Truck was factory fitted with a 6-230 and from what I can see is that they had to cut a small section out of the front cross memberphoto (5).jpg Dave would be able to take some photos of the engine fitted. Mine is sitting beside the chassis at the moment. I have a spare engine plate bracket if you need.

    Thanks for the photo Ash. I like how you boxed it in. I am in the same boat with my engine. Its sitting next to the frame. I need to get my mounts fashioned so I can finish the frame. Once that is done this thing should really start coming together.

    What is your 6-230 like Cal ? Is it a goer ? Do you have a lead on where you can get parts for it ?

    the surface that the rubber engin mount sits on is at 45 degree .
