I changed my fog light bulbs yestesrday from the standard 9006 bulbs to 9005 bulbs. Basically it's the same thing for those of us who are running H9 bulbs in the H11 low-beam headlight sockets. The bulbs are uncapped and run about 10 watts brighter, and only need a quick shaving down with a dremel in order to fit. Unfortunately, the fog light lenses have this huge cap that goes around the bulb anyways (to stop most of the glare for on-coming drivers) so I'm not sure if there is any advantage at all to doing this...I haven't gotten a chance to try it out at night yet. Anybody else do this?

If anybody wants, I can write up a DIY with pictures on how to do this since I still haven't contributed any DIY yet.
