    Welcome Jerome,

That is a fine looking truck! You can look up LarrBeard's 48 truck build. He has his truck completed, and would be an excellent source of any kind of questions you may have. You may have some good information about European Willy's.

    Nice truck Jerome.
Enjoy the restoration process and driving her when she is all done.

Doctor Jeep has a nice collection. Your truck is really clean as well. Is rust an issue in southern France? Everything pictured looked clean. The wagon looked to have a smooth roof where ours are ribbed.

Doctor jeep is a passionate, 30 years old that he recovers jeep ...a start of restoration on my truck, which has been stopped but there is still much to do, repainting the dumpster first ...the south-west of France is a little wet it must be stored in the shelter.

I admire Dr Jeep's dedication to his good work. Your truck will be just as good when you finish. Keep us up to date on your progress.

You have a much better truck to start with than I did.

It looks like a good project truck.

My truck is a 1948 two-wheel drive that had been my father's truck. I learned to drive in it about 1954. Now my Grandson is learning to drive it too.
