    Where to replace a bracket?

    Good afternoon,

The welding jobs to my Willys Wagon have been completed. Unfortunately I have one part left over now and I can not track where exactly this bracket was welded. I hope someone can help me further and recognize the bracket. Thanks in advance for a response.

    Kind regards,
    Jos Noben

I'll have to go out and look at mine. It doesn't ring a bell right at this moment. At first glance, it looked like a fender mount, but the angle doesn't match. The bolts are to close together. I'll look tomorrow after work and see what I can come up with.

I didn't get a chance to crawl around the body, but after thinking about it a while, it might be the spare tire rest. The bracket is welded to the fuel tunnel, inside the right rear. There is a rubber block that mounts to the top. The spare tire sits on top the block. I'll snap some pictures to match it up.

    Here are the promised pictures.

After comparing the photos that you provided, this is not the same bracket. I'll continue to look.
