Hey guys, wanted to just check in. It's been forever since I've been on the forum. . progress is going very slowly but is still going. It's that time thing we all talk about....I was able to get the jeep back in the garage and pick away at a few more rust holes. Now that the winter months are coming here in Maine I will be spending more free time in the garage...well that's always the plan anyways. The jeep still starts up and seems to run good, once I boost it to get it started,I'm guessing the generator may not be charging the battery, but haven't tested it. Hopefully I will be able to post more often with more and more progress updates, just wanted to let you know I was still working on it and haven't given up on the project.

Good to hear from you. I know what you are talking about, in regards to time. There isn't enough of it in a day. Keep us in the loop!

The next time you get it running, take your meter and look at the battery voltage. If it's 14.2 volts or so, the generator and regulator are doing their thing - you probably have a saggy battery.

Hang in there - just a little at a time mounts up.
