If nothing has really changed in the 9 years, check the ohms on the wires. If they show low resistance, then they are good to go. As LarrBeard stated earlier, if the wires are radio suppressive, then they will read higher than .5 ohms. I would measure all the wires and take an average reading. If any wire is reading different from the others, then that may be your issue. Being that the Jeep has been in hibernation for an extended time, a condenser could very well be the problem.

I have to take inventory on a parts store display box. It's full of points and condenser sets. I'll have to find a cross reference guide to see if there is anything of heep value.
