The fact you didn't get the hose doesn't surprise me in the least. For about the last week, I've been getting my neighbors mail and some of mine. It has been my morning routine, going from one mail box to another to drop off their mail.

gm, it sounds like you and Quarter Ton are using the same Post Office! No question COVID changed the way this country works, from its work ethic to its work force.
I think that’s where I got my hoses? They seem to be good quality but of course I’ve only run it once one the stand!
WOW! So this is inflation. Here's my quote from April of 2019 about the cost of the Thermostat.
"I just received the new "Racing" Milodon 160 deg. Thermostat https://www.summitracing.com/parts/mil-16400. Wow it is definitely a higher flow Thermostat. It was $24!" (April 2019)
Three years later they are $38.95!!! (if you can find them)
Don’t worry about the inflation. The government will print more money and increase minimum wage to counter it. Problem solved. <sarcasm>

OK it had to happen... I took peeJ out for the spring. I waited till the sun had been shining for a few days. No standing water in site. Took her out on the mowed cleaned lawn. As I was bringing it around I clearly heard the sound of water under the tires. Horror, I looked down there had to be a good 1/4 inch of coffee colored water with grass sticking up. Crap! I grabbed the sticks and got it down into 4 wheel low, 1st gear and we crawled through the swamp. You can see by the sideways pictures this is going to take a while to clean up.
Geez, your one step away from running through the mud pit now!!! Ateast PeeJs out and running good for another season. Even with a little mud she still looks pretty!
So your planning a big offroad excursion now? Its been dirty once, now you need to come do some rockcrawling, hahaha!!
A few smudges on PeeJ makes it look even better.... But of course, that's my opinion. I think when I get a bunch of time in a row, I'm going to attempt to aircraft polish the Heep. There will be a bunch of steps and grits and polish to get it to really pop, (or burn the retinas out of everyone in the sunshine). I am pondering if it would look right with the rough spots.

A couple little specs of mud will build character on PJ Bob!!!
Your in for some buffing time gm to get the Heep polished up like that but it will be stunning looking, we had a guy in our Jeep club that had a Stainless Steel tub and he polished it up and it looked like it was Chrome Plated but he said it was a nightmare to do!!!
